Voucher Program Information
The subsidised programme offers theoretical vocational training in all specialities of the tourism sector for 250 hours (3 months) with an allowance of 1250€.
Training Allowance: 1250€ (5€/hour) which you receive 70% after the completion of the program and the remaining amount after the successful completion of the certification exams.
Programme duration: 250 hours via an online asynchronous training platform.
Conditions of participation:
- They must be Greek nationals, nationals of European Union (EU) member states, and/or nationals of third countries (countries outside the EU), who are legally residing in the country.
- Be over 18 years of age.
- Be seasonal workers in tourism enterprises or long-term or temporarily unemployed in the tourism sector or have been employees of tourism enterprises whose employment contracts were suspended in 2020 and/or 2021 due to the temporary cessation or suspension of the operation of the enterprises in which they worked, in the context of measures to prevent and combat the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus.
- Have at least two hundred (200) days of total wages in the last ten years in the tourism sector or in a specialty related to the training specialty.
- Be registered in the Unemployment Register of the D.Y.P.A. (formerly O.A.E.D.), regardless of whether they receive unemployment benefit or not.
